About Us
The Arches is a local company teaching the local community computing skills. They have target audience for the site is local people who wish to take training courses in a local setting.
They continually strive to ensure that they provide the local community the chance at the best education, training and learning opportunities.
In June 2019 they opened our new Education & Learning Centre in Digbeth. Known locally as the arches it is a modern facility within an historic building – an ideal place for the education and training.
The team of learning organizers work closely with the local community members, individuals, employers and key stakeholders to create and deliver learning solutions, in line with community’s values of being ‘The modern union for a changing world’.
They believe that access to learning is an essential human right. Education builds confidence and self-esteem, and gives people pride. It’s also key to succeeding in our changing working world, where flexible skill development is becoming vital.
Main Hall
The centre room for hire is capable of holding 300 people for all different types of events. The room has loads of natural light and can morph into anything you desire from a wedding to an end of year celebration.
Side Room
One of the side rooms available is for younger children to go and play. It has toys and a safe area for them to tumble and roll around. It is also has a private mother and baby section for mothers who wish for privacy when breast feeding their babies.
Kitchen
Off the main room available is a side kitchen preparation area. It has a larger fridge freezer - plenty of serving space and it has a fully stocked kitchen.
Outdoor
Outside is a large run around area for the younger children. Great for birthday parties. Outside there is a space for a bouncy castle.
